Sony Music and ANIPLEX-based idol group 22/7, who perform as virtual characters and real idols, have begun looking for new members in what the official news article on the 22/7 website is dubbing "Nananiji Chapter 2." This is the groups first audition since its debut five years ago.

The auditions are only open to females aged 18 to 25 (as of April 1, 2022) who are able to travel to Tokyo for the audition process. The application also states that it would be nice if the applicants were fans of voice actors and are able to appear in promotional programs during the audition process. It also states that the applicant must not have an exclusive contract with another agency. Applications are open until October 19 with five screening rounds until December 2021.

22/7 have spawned multiple albums, singles, live events, and even a TV anime series that is currently streaming on Crunchyroll.
