Anisong Singer/VA Yuri Komagata Sings with Her Fresh Voice in New MV "Compass"

Anisong singer/voice actress Yuri Komagata released her first full album "stella" from Teichiku Entertainment's Rokkan Music label on December 15, 2021. At the same time, the record company's official YouTube channel posted a music video for the album's lead track, "Compass."

In 2011, Komagata was chosen as one of the finalists in the 5th All Japan Anison Grand Prix. After making her voice acting debut in the following year first, she made her solo singer debut with the OP theme song for the 14th PreCure TV series Kirakira PreCure a la Mode in 2017, then released her first single from Rokkan Music, "Tomare no Susume," in June 2018. The song was used as the OP theme for the TV anime Crossing Time, in which she also voiced one of the anime's main characters, Mashima-san.

The theme of her first full album is "Past and Future." In addition to her debut single song "Tomare no Susume" and other songs previously released, such as "Clockwise,", "Night Walk," and "On My Way," the 12-song album also contains six new songs, including "Compass," whose lyrics were written by herself.

Message from Yuri Komagata:

"I'm happy to be able to release my first full-length album on the occasion of my 30th birthday year! In addition to the songs from my previous releases, this album contains six new songs, making it a full volume album. I wrote the lyrics for this album as well. All the new songs are so energetic that I thought all of them could be a lead track. I hope you can feel a different 'Yuri Komagata' from the past."
