Classroom of the Elite Season 2 Gets 1st Trailer, Reveals 3rd Season in Production

Just when we thought we were only going to get more information on the second season of the Classroom of the Elite TV anime, not only do we get a brand new trailer for the popular series, but the announcement of a third season of the anime based on the light novel series by Shogo Kinugasa, adapting the entire 1st year from the series!

 

A trailer was released for the ongoing project, along with a key visual for the project, as well as comments from the cast, who return from the first season, the dates for both seasons, and the opening and ending theme song singers.

Singing the opening theme song for the second season of Classroom of the Elite is ZAQ, with Mai Fuchigami singing the ending theme song. The second season is scheduled to premiere in July with the third season scheduled for sometime in 2023, with the lead staff returning from the first season for the second season at Lerche.

Kiyotaka Ayanokoji has just enrolled at Tokyo Koudo Ikusei Senior High School, where it's said that 100% of students go on to college or find employment. But he ends up in Class 1-D, which is full of all the school's problem children. What's more, every month, the school awards students points with a cash value of 100,000 yen, and the classes employ a laissez-faire policy in which talking, sleeping, and even sabotage are permitted during class. One month later, Ayanokoji, Horikita, and the students of Class D learn the truth of the system in place within their school…
