Dragon Quest X Offline Dated for Japan, Expansion to Follow in 2023
A date has been locked in for Dragon Quest X: Rise of the Five Tribes Offline, which will spin the MMO into a single-player adventure when it hits PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC in Japan on September 15.

Square Enix and developer B.B. Studio paired that announcement with plans for a delayed release of its major expansion, Dragon Quest X: The Sleeping Hero and the Guiding Ally Offline. Originally planned for a summer 2022 release before being pushed back to a fall 2022 launch, that release is now penciled in for spring 2023.

Dragon Quest X Offline has been hit with some delays itself in the past. It was previously set to launch on February 26 in Japan, but was postponed to further improve quality.
