Eleven Arts has released the English-language trailer for the Poupelle of Chimney Town feature film, adapted from the property by creator Akihiro Nishino with production by STUDIO4°C and directed by Yusuke Hirota. The film was released on Chrstmas Day 2020 in Japan and the English-language dub trailer is embedded below:
The film is slated for wide release in the US on December 30th, 2021 and the English dub cast is listed below following the synopsis:
Poupelle of Chimney Town is the story of young Lubicchi living among the thick smoke from the chimneys of his isolated town, yearning to see the “stars” — to know the truth — his father always told him about. One Halloween night he meets Poupelle, a man made of garbage, and together they look to the sky as their adventure begins.
