Feel the Warm Fuzzies with My Master Has No Tail's 1st Trailer
Upcoming supernatural comedy anime My Master Has No Tail took the stage at AnimeJapan 2022 today to reveal its first trailer, previewing new and old cast members and confirming a Fall 2022 release window:
The trailer highlights the main and new additional cast members, including (in order of credit appearance):
- M・A・O (Pecorine in Princess Connect! Re:Dive) as Mameda
- Hibiku Yamamura (Noriko in Kiznaiver) as Bunko Daikokutei
- Lynn (Hibana in Fire Force) as Shirara Tsubaki
- Takuya Eguchi (Loid in SPY x FAMILY) as Byakudanji Tsubaki
- Ayumu Murase (Kage in Ranking of Kings) as Sakujiro
- Natsuki Aikawa (Centorea in MONSTER MUSUME EVERYDAY LIFE WITH MONSTER GIRLS) as Omatsu
- Ikumi Hasegawa (Vladilena in 86 EIGHTY-SIX) as Koito
- Yuichiro Umehara (Kimura in Heaven's Design Team) as Rakuda
Based on the manga by TNSK, My Master Has No Tail is being directed by Hideyo Yamamoto (Cells at Work! CODE BLACK) at studio LIDEN FILMS, with series composition by Touko Machida (Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan) and character designs by Ryo Yamauchi (Vivy -Fluorite Eye’s Song- key animator).
The series follows Mameda, a tanuki who begs Bunko Daikokutei, a fellow shapeshifting creature and rakugo storyteller, to help change her stripes and become a convincing human in Taisho-era Osaka, as depicted in this previously released visual:
