Kyoto Confectionery TV Anime 'Deaimon' Spreads Its Sweetness in 1st Trailer
After the upcoming TV anime Deaimon released its first anime visual the other day, the adaptation of Rin Asano's manga got its first full trailer alongside the announcement of additional cast members and staff for the series centered on Nagomu Irino, who moves back to Kyoto to take over his family's confectionery shop but learns that he has to be a father figure to Itsuka Yukihara, who has been named the successor of the family business.
Joining the cast of Deaimon is:
- Heigo Irino: Rikiya Koyama (Kiritsugu Emiya in Fate/Zero)
- Fuuki Irino: Sayaka Ohara (Erza Scarlet in Fairy Tail)
- Tatsumasa: Hiroshi Iwasaki
- Tsuru-san: Satsuki Yukino (Yoruichi Shihouin in Bleach)
- Saki Seto: Takuma Nagatsuka (Miya Chinen in SK8 the Infinity)
- Mitsuru Horikawa: Minori Suzuki (Freyja Wion in Macross Δ)
- Kanoko Matsukaze: Takahashi Minami (Megumi Tadakoro in Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma)
- Hiiro Kisaichi: Saori Hayami (Yamato in One Piece)
- Tomoe Yukihira: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Inosuke Hashibira in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba)
- Ichikou Irino: Izo Oikawa
- Iyoko Irino: Miho Yoshida
Fumitoshi Oizaki (Romeo × Juliet) is directing Deaimon at Encourage Films, where Oizaki is also the CEO, with Reiko Yoshida (Violet Evergarden) writing the scripts, and Sakae Shibuya (Girl Friend Site) as the character designer and animation director. The company Midorimatsu is also helping to produce the anime series. The new newly announced staff members include:
