New Pokémon Evolutions Web Anime to Look Back on 25 Years

Get ready to look back at the entire Pokémon series with a brand new anime web series to celebrate 25 years of the franchise. Titled Pokémon Evolutions, the eight-episode series will be retrospective on the franchise as a whole, with each episode focusing on one “familiar” story from each region, starting with Galar (the newest region) and finishing in Kanto (the oldest region). A trailer and visual for the web series were released.

The episode list for Pokémon Evolutions was released, announcing when each episode will be online on the official Pokémon YouTube Channel and Pokémon TV, as well as the region and episode name:


  • “The Champion” featuring the Galar region – Released on September 9
  • “The Eclipse” featuring the Alola region – Released on September 23
  • “The Visionary” featuring the Kalos region – Released on October 7
  • “The Plan” featuring the Unova region – Released on October 21
  • “The Rival” featuring the Sinnoh region – Released on December 2
  • “The Wish” featuring the Hoenn region – Released on December 9
  • “The Show” featuring the Johto region – Released on December 16
  • “The Discovery” featuring the Kanto region – Released on December 23


Pokémon Evolutions will be produced at OLM, which has animated the Pokémon TV anime since its beginning, in partnership with The Pokémon Company International with the first episode looking at the fight with Eternatus on September 9.
