ODDTAXI is IGN's Pick for Best Anime of 2021
IGN recently rolled out its list of top anime titles for the year, and the honor of Best Anime of 2021 went to ODDTAXI. IGN's write-up calls director Baku Kinoshita and writer Kazuya Konomoto's critically-acclaimed series "a fascinating mystery drama with incredible writing, deeply developed and memorable characters, and a unique art style that stands out not just because of its anthropomorphic world, but because there's literally nothing that looks quite like it."
Yep, that sounds about right. You can read the full post here.
IGN's other nominees for Best Anime of 2021 include:
Horimiya
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation
The Case Study of Vanitas
Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song
Wonder Egg Priority
The winner of IGN's award for the best anime of 2021 is… Oddtaxi!!! ???????? https://t.co/9nYTnxsn16
If you haven't seen it yet, Oddtaxi is the tale of a whole city, with an intricately woven plot that ties together seemingly unrelated story threads for a satisfying culmination. pic.twitter.com/p3JIr6cI3k
