The official YouTube channel for the four-member Japanese idol group Philosophy no Dance / The Dance of Philosophy has posted a music video for "Sunflower," the theme song for the upcoming original anime feature film Hula Fulla Dance.
In this music video, the dancing team to which the film's main characters belong, known as the "Hula Girls," and the four members of Philosophy no Dance worked together to perform on the stage of Spa Resort Hawaiians in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture, where the film's story takes place. The members were so impressed with the Hula Girls in the film, who were from different backgrounds but struggling to pursue the same dream, and enthusiastically offered to perform together.
After practicing in Tokyo and Fukushima separately, they performed together a one-time only stage in front of the audience at the Spa Resort Hawaiians. When they returned to the backstage after the performance, their eyes were filled with tears.
As their fourth major CD single, "Sunflower" will be released on December 1, 2021.
