School Life is Magical in Smile of the Arsnotoria the Animation PV

Arsnotoria, Petit Albert, and Mel enjoy a moment together in the principal's office in a scene from the upcoming Smile of the Arsnotoria the Animation TV anime.


Everyday is magical when you study at an academy dedicated to the arcane arts, and now a new preview video and a new cast member have been revealed for Smile of the Arsnotoria the Animation, an upcoming TV anime based on the mobile game created by Nitroplus, developed by NextNinja, and published by Good Smile Company about the everyday lives of girls who study magic in school.


The new cast member includes:


A character setting of Lidel, a young lady with purple eyes and red hair tied in a side ponytail style. Lidel wears a school uniform for her magical academy, which looks like a cross between gray wizard robes and a typical red, white, and black blazer / skirt / tie combination.

Crunchyroll describes the story of Smile of the Arsnotoria the Animation as follows:


Here in this magic academy city of Ashram, where everyone is required to live in dormitories, a close-knit group of girls known as "Pentagrams" pursue their studies, including training in manners and magic, to become "true ladies." Arsnotoria, one of the students in Ashram, lives in Dorm 5 and is always with her dormmate friends: Mel, who's the life of the party, Petit Albert, who's quiet and does things at her own pace, Picatrix, who wants to be the class president, and Abramelin, who's always cool. They take classes and work on their school duties together, and they throw tea parties after school in "that room"… We'll share the girls' fun and lively days with you!

Smile of the Arsnotoria the Animation is directed by Naoyuki Tatsuwa and features animation production by LIDEN FILMS. The series will broadcast in Japan on TOKYO MX and BS NTV beginning on July 06, 2022, and it will also stream on Crunchyroll as part of the summer 2022 anime simulcast lineup.
