Following up on the initial announcement of a second season of the irreverent and sometimes questionable TV anime adaptation of bkub okawa's Pop Team Epic in December of last year, the official Twitter account has decided to slightly update with an October 2022 premiere date for said season. No new key visual, no new teaser, just the premiere date. The update is embedded below.

The first season was simulcast by Crunchyroll in 2018 and is described thusly:
