It's time for the team from Sword Art Online to head up to the home plate and swing away in a newly-announced collaboration with the Japanese baseball team Yomiuri Giants which will see Kirito's voice actor Yoshitsugu Matsuoka appear at the Yokohama DeNA BayStars vs. Yomiuri Giants game on October 2 at Tokyo Dome. A special visual for the collaboration has been released with characters from SAO and the upcoming Progressive film in chibi form.

Matsuoka will also be appearing on a paid Yomiuri Giants live stream with talk about the game and behind the scene information on the venue, as well as goods with the above visual will be sold online through the Giants webs shop, though more details on them will be revealed at a later date.
The next SAO anime project is the Sword Art Online the Movie -Progressive- Aria of a Starless Night, which is scheduled to premiere in Japanese theaters on October 30 in both regular formats and IMAX.
