Media mix project takt op. takes place in a world where great works of classical music are personified as magical girls. That world was introduced in the anime series takt op.Destiny, and we'll be able to revisit it when the anime gets a manga adaptation this summer!


The announcement appeared on the anime's official Twitter account, along with our first look at the manga art:

The manga will appear in Media Factory's seinen magazine Monthly Comic Alive, which has also run the manga adaptations of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-KONOSUBA -God's blessing on this wonderful world!-, and No Game No Life.


The takt op.Destiny manga begins its run in the August issue of Monthly Comic Alive, which hits newsstands in Japan on June 27. The story has also taken the form of a "symphonic RPG" mobile game: takt op.: Fate Within the City of Crimson Melodies. At present, the game is only available in Japan.
