Watch Passionate Performances of The Cast in My Hero Academia 2nd Stage Play Dress Rehearsal

The long-awaited second stage play "My Hero Academia The 'Ultra' Stage Honmono no Hero: PLUS ULTRA ver." finally kicked off at TOKYO DOME CITY HALL in Tokyo on December 3. Prior to the premiere, its dress rehearsal was shown to the Japanese media.

Following the sold-out first play in April 2019, the second stage play adaptation of Kohei Horikoshi's sci-fi action shonen manga was originally scheduled to be performed in the spring of 2020, but has been postponed twice due to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the spread has been slowing down rapidly in Japan, it is expected to be performed as scheduled at TOKYO DOME CITY HALL in Tokyo from December 3 to 12, 2021, then at The Kyoto Theater in Kyoto from December 24 to 26.

The DVD/Blu-ray of the second show is set to be released on April 20, 2022. In addition, it has already been announced that a new show, which is expected to be the third installment in the stage play series, is set to be performed in the spring of 2022.
